THE RULES

Alkemmy's Badly Mixed Up

This game is inspired from UNO

Yes. We are heavily inspired from UNO. It’s simply because we didn’t want to reinvent the wheel. We just made it more fun for us, just like we did with Alkemmy’s flavour mixers for beer. Now moving on.

Here are the rules:

  1. Everyone needs to pour a glass of whatever they are drinking. Non drinkers may take a leave.

  2. Deck gets shuffled and 6 cards gets distributed to each and one is shown on the table to start the game. Rest is reserve deck.

  3. Colour and Numbers can be played like Uno. Not discussing that here.

  4. In colour cards, special cards can be played on top of each other

  5. With every move, a player drinks one sip.

  6. Speed up Table: Each player passes their glass to the next in order

  7. Drink Two Sips: Next player drinks two sips. If the next player also plays the same card, he/she drinks one sip and the next in order will have to drink four sips now.

  8. Exchange Glasses: you exchange glass with the next player in order. If the same card is played, then the same exchange continues.

  9. Power Cards needs to be played while announcing colours.

  10. Borrow one sip: You can borrow one sip from the next player and announce a colours and skip your sip.

  11. Pick two cards drink two sips: you sip one and the next in order will pick two cards and sip two drinks while the person who plays the card, announces a colours.

  12. Exchange hands: you sip one, exchange your cards and drinks with the next in order. You announce the colour and then continue.

  13. Swap two hands: person who plays sips one and announces the colour while he/she can instruct two random players to exchange full hands.

  14. The person with two cards left announces “alkemmy” before playing the second last card else they have to sip one as penalty and pick one card.

  15. If a person plays and forgets to sip, they will have to drink a sip and take a card once found out.

  16. The person with zero cards and drinks left with him/her wins.

  17. If your drink in hand finishes, you are kicked out.
